Para a residência no The Banff Centre, meu objetivo é realizar uma instalação de um calendário mensal. Este calendário consiste em 30 desenhos em painéis de concreto nas medidas 50 x 50 x 1. O tamanho total da instalação deverá ser de aproximadamente 4,5 x 3,0 m, organizado seguindo o padrão de um calendário convencional. Cada superfície será inicialmente trabalhada separada e após juntas recebendo tratamentos diversos tais como desenhos, monotipias, stencil, tempera e óleo entre outras técnicas.
Part extract from the project proposal for the residency.
For the residency at The Banff Centre, my goal is to perform an installation from a monthly calendar. This schedule will consist of thirty drawings on 50 x 50 x 1 cm of cement boards. The total size of the instalation should be approximately 4.5 x 3.0 m, organized to follow the conventional calendar grid, consisting therefore of seven columns and five rows. Each surface of the panels will be worked separately first and late together with the others and may receive various treatments such as drawing, monotypes, relief, stencil, tempera and oil painting, silkscreen, collage, photography and photo-transfer.
